Bendigo Access Employment was able to bring together an alliance of agencies under the auspices of the Neighbourhood Renewal project to establish the Bright Street Enterprise Hub including the Hub Café and catering service. 

The Hub has been successful in employing local people from the Eaglehawk and surrounding communities; including trainees. A focus of the Hub is on strengthening the local community through the delivery of appropriate training and by supporting local organizations. 

The Hub provides premises from which a number of community support agencies operate.

Men’s Sheds are also developing a community facility at the site.
