Bendigo Access Employment is currently involved in a number of community projects and partnerships.
PepperGreen Farm is a community, environmental and heritage farm in Thunder Street, Bendigo, dedicated to developing a cohesive, sustainable community through activities, training, special events and arts/community festivals.
Community Hub the Bright Street Enterprise Hub is situated on the corner of Bright and Nelson Streets Eaglehawk. The Hub is a community facility that is self sustaining through the business activities of a cafe and milk bar. The Hub consists of:
A milk bar / café which sustains the facility and provide training opportunities for local residents
The Eaglehawk Focus Centre which provides training and educational opportunities to local residents
A tool library run by volunteers and providing tools to the local community on a low cost basis to lift pride in the neighbourhood.
A meeting/training room providing a venue for local activities such as Neighbourhood Watch meetings, resident action group meetings, club meetings as well as the delivery of vocational training courses.
The Hub is owned by BAE and will operate as a separate enterprise.
