The Disability Employment Network (DEN) is a network of specialist employment services supporting the employment of people with disability in the open labour market. The network is made up of 246 community and private organisations across Australia, providing expert support and services to both people with a disability and to employers.
Services for people with disability
We provide a range of free services to job seekers and employees who have permanent disability, or disability that is likely to become permanent. These services are individually tailored to meet your employment needs and include:
- help preparing for work, such as training in specific job skills
- job search support such as resume develoment, interview skills training, and help looking for suitable jobs
- support when placed into a job, inclulding on-the-job training and support for co-workers and employers
- ongoing support in a job when needed
- vocational training and other types of assistance
- access to employer incentives, such as workplace modification assistance and wage subsidies
